Surprise! It’s Monday.
I arrived at work this morning to find a pair of bird corpses decorating the landing outside of the employee entrance. It would have been easy to just assume that it was some sort of murder/suicide situation that was the result of a dispute over nest real estate or bird feeder territory, but what fun [...]

Is this really a thing?
There are lots of things that I don’t know about women. (I did know that they better “get used to it,” or so goes the advice goes from a coworker regarding provocative snow sculptures.) For instance, I had no idea that their armpits could become discolored. You know who did know that? The fine people [...]

Thoughts on The Pitch
My first thought is, there are a lot of people out there on TV right now that look like Tonya Harding. Okay, just two that I can think of, but that seems like a lot. Doesn’t it?

I’m a Nerd for Tourism Commercials.
It’s the time of the year when summer vacation planning is in full force. As such, state tourism commercials are all over the place. If asked in public I would deny it, but I’m kind of fascinated by state tourism commercials. I love that they take things that might be kind of corny on their [...]

The Rolling Stones were (mentioned) on Mad Men.
On last night’s episode of Mad Men, Don and Harry were backstage at a Rolling Stones concert, hoping to meet the band and convince them to do an ad for Heinz Beans. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out for them. The wonderful thing about this episode is that I now realize that I have the same [...]
